観察と試み〜深大寺の一軒家改修〜Observation and Experiment

築50年の木造住宅の改修。「プライバシー感（天気や気分によって変わる心のセキュリティ度合い）」を設計テーマに、ITセキュリティを研究する施主と協働した、個人住宅と社会の繋がり方を実験できる住宅です。気分に応じて日常生活を閉じたり開いたりと、住宅がもっとまちとの境界を超えていけるように、生活の丁寧な観察をし、その生活が外側へ拡張されるよう外部化する改修設計を試みました。今まで隠れていた日常がまちから見えることで、＜まちに暮らす＞という偶然性を取込んだ新しい一軒家暮らしの楽しさが生まれることを期待しています。

This is a downsizing renovation project of a house.We focused on a house that can experiment the connection with the society under the theme of security of mind which differs according to the weather and circumstance.The idea is to expand one's life by wrapping the room with verandah and externalizing the corridor.
