ここでは、都市風景の躍動感や凹凸をそのまま立体に建ち上げた動的なファサードを試みた。 日本橋浜町に2020年に竣工した４層のテナントビルの計画である。テナントには植物を軸に異なる分野で活動する5社が集まり、ワークスペースのほかに、まちにもひらいた食堂やテラス、屋上菜園・温室・キャットウォーク(植物バルコニー)など、まるで緑にまつわる実験室のような場が求められた。 そこで、床を積層した均質的なビルではなく、光や風や外部との関係により影響を受ける、ある種の不均質さを持った環境を目指した。３面に接道する敷地中央にEVと階段の縦シャフトを幹として配置し、周辺を枝葉が取り巻くように機能ボリュームを立体的に配置した。緑や人の背景となるようボリュームの素材はドライでニュートラルな工業製品とした。ボリューム同士がずれることで発生するテラスやバルコニーもオフィスの一部として位置付け、ビル全体のエントランスは、内部空間でありながら床を土のままとし、日々変化する植物や野菜が人々を迎え入れる空間とした。屋上では都心で農業を実験的に取り組み、街に緑を広めることに寄与している。建築と緑と街の関係性を考えることにより新しいオフィス環境をつくりだしている。

Here, we experimented a kynetic façade with dynamic feeling and unevenness of the cityscape. The plan is for a four-storied tenant building that was completed in 2020 in Nihonbashi Hama-cho. A place like a laboratory for plants and greens was reqired where five companies that are active in different fields but related to plants and green gather as a tenant, and in addition to the workspace, there are restaurants and terraces that are open to the town, rooftop vegetable gardens, greenhouses and catwalks (plant balconies).Therefore, instead of designing a homogeneous building with stacked floors, we aimed for an environment with a certain inhomogeneity that is affected by light, wind, and relationships with the outside. The elevator and the vertical shaft of the stairs were placed as the core in the center of the site, which faces the road on three sides, and the functional volumes were three-dimensionally placed like branches and leaves. The material for the volume is a dry and neutral industrial product so that it becomes a background for greenery and people. The terraces and balconies that appear when the volumes shift from each other are also a part of the office, and the entrance of the entire building is an internal space, but the floor remains soil, and plants and vegetables that change daily welcome people. The rooftop contributes to the experimententaion of agriculture in the city center and the spread of greenery in the city. We created a new office environment by considering the relationship between architecture, greenery and the city.
