子どもたちが更新し続けるものづくり空間［vivistop -柏の葉-］Creative space continually updated by children　［vivistop -kashiwanoha-］

放課後に子ども達がものづくりを通して創造性を育む拠点vivistop柏の葉の改修計画。空間を設計者が設計するのではなく、子どもたちが自らの手で空間をリニューアルする実験プロジェクト。机上でデザインを描くのではなく 「野焼き」と呼んでいる、空間を空っぽに（解体）し、そこをどんな場所にしたら良いか妄想し、1/1の段ボールで子どもが自らデザインを進め、それをもとに設計者が模型をつくり、取捨選択し、施工するというプロセスである。このプロセスを経て、環境づくりを子どもたちの創造性からつくることと、更には完成後も常に新しい創造が生まれ続けるような場所であることを目指している。子どもたちは、オーナシップやメンバーシップを実感しながら、自ら手を動かし考察し、最終的な空間が出来上がるまでを参加型のプロセスを楽しみ、実感しながら作り上げた。つくることから空間も自分ごと化し、ものづくりの延長に空間づくりを位置付けられると、新しい空間の設計手法が生まれると共に、未来の建築家が出ることも期待している。また全プロセスを冊子と映像で記録したことによりプロジェクトの可視化と共有を行なっている。

A renovation plan for vivistop Kashiwa-no-ha, a base where children nurture creativity through creation after school. An experimental project in which children renew the space with their own hands, rather than the designer designing the space. Instead of drawing a design on the desk, we call it "burning field", which is a process in which emptying (disassembling) the space, imagining about what kind of place it should be, and the children advancing the design by themselfes with 1/1 cardboard, and then the designer creating a model based on the design, selecting, and constructing it. Through this process, we aim to create an environment from children's creativity, so that this place will continue to generate new creativity even after completion. The children moved their hands, used thier imagination, and enjoyed the whole process while feeling the ownership and membership, until the final space was completed experimenting many things. We hope that if the space is personalized from the creation peiod and the space creation is positioned as an extension of manufacturing, a new space design method will be born and help nuture future architects. In addition, the entire process is recorded in a booklet and video to visualize and share the project.
